Allow municipalities to have direct oversight of short-term rentals in their communities.

Build resilience through investment in public safety response and services. Ensure appropriate facilities and equipment are available to protect our community, including the use of K-9 units and secure technology.

Support wildland firefighting capabilities, including at Prescott Regional Airport (PRC), and help residents maintain property insurance.

Reduce the concentration and impact of sober living homes, strengthen state oversight, provide a mechanism to recover costs of high frequency public safety responses, and reduce the use and impact of illicit substances.

Oppose legislation that would erode due process or result in harsher sentencing for individuals, including law enforcement officers and staff performing their assigned duties.

Prescott is ready to partner with the State of Arizona and federal agencies to attract aviation/aerospace, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, technology, and other target industries that contribute to state and national economies.

Expand Prescott Regional Airport as a wildfire response asset and maturing economic catalyst bridging university workforce development and research with emerging technologies and aviation/aerospace innovation.

Promote jobs, workforce development, and business investment while preserving Prescott’s character and quality of life. Help existing businesses grow and expand.

Preserve and enhance tourism as an economic contributor to rural communities.

Support legislation and funding for nonprofit and education partners, libraries and museums, and art and cultural organizations that provide services to the City.

State roads in rural areas should be adequately funded, maintained and improved.

Extend the runway at Prescott Regional Airport (PRC) to support regional wildfire defense and commercial air service. Allow Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) on City projects that include federal and state aviation grant funds.

Prepare now for roads needed in the future, including freeway connecting I-17 to Prescott.

Ensure all electric vehicles are contributing to community road infrastructure.

Protect Prescott’s assured water supply and maintain the Big Chino Water Ranch as a critical water source.

Support outdoor recreation, trail connectivity, lake health, wildlife corridors, open space, and preservation of Arizona’s unique ecosystems.

Protect the headwaters of the Hassayampa River and the Gila River Drainage from activities that could harm water quality and/or flow.

Support the wild and scenic designation for the Upper Verde River.
